The 1949 Coronet was the first year the Coronet was offered in a convertible and only 2,411 were ever made. As of January 2000, only 13 were still around nationally and only 3 in the state of Illinois according to 'Automotive Information Clearinghouse' out of La Mesa California. This Coronet is truly a one-of-a-kind must have for any collector or enthusiast.
This timeless Coronet has been painted in blue to match its clean blue interior and goes together perfectly with the white soft top. Under the hood is the famous Chevrolet 350 CID with the great essentials of Power Brakes and Power steering making this the ultimate weekend cruiser! It has a Holley Carb and an Edelbrock Air Filter. The great noise is emitted through newer dual chrome tip exhausts coming out the rear. The car has been converted to a 12 volt system and recently had a new soft top put on.
