The Mark VI was only manufactured for 6 years. This was the first post-war luxury vehicle from Bentley, but being there was a major steel shortage during this time it made production difficult. This Bentley runs on the original 260 CID Inline 6-cylinder engine which was rebuilt back in 2007 by Portland Engine builders then installed by The Jag Shop in Portland, Oregon. The engine is partnered with a 4-speed manual transmission. This car has received some restoration throughout its life span. Some of the items that have restored are new exhaust system, coils, rear shocks, new --electronic- SU fuel pump, clutch pressure plate was rebuilt by OTT-s Friction and a new clutch drive plate and throw out bearing were installed. The list goes on to make sure this classical beauty stays on the road. The car has been well taken care of throughout the years and has even had new motor mounts, hoses, and tires installed. The distributor was rebuilt and converted to electronic ignition, water pump rebuilt, and radiator was re-cored.
