1953 Chevrolet 210

View Description

Most of the restoration was completed in Switzerland to comply with their strict regulations and has the certification label under the hood.

Body/ Paint: Mild modifications include a one-piece peaked and shaved hood, shaved deck, and gas filler door. The deck has a cable release and the fuel filler is in the trunk. The spare tire well has been filled as well. All other Deluxe stainless remains as well as Pontiac front fender splits and stars on the rear quarters. The body is a custom mix copper Kandy with rainbow color flake in the clear coat with a pearl tan top and pin-striping. The car has a sun visor, extra teeth in the grill, one-piece bumpers, and new '54 Chevy tail lights and housings. All glass is original with the exception of the wind-wings and side-quarter windows that are new.

Interior: The 3-tone interior has copper flake and 2 shades of tan and is over-stuffed. Very comfortable. All interior door and window handles are new. The new headliner is cream and the carpet is copper. The dash is original including the paint (other than striping), has an accessory stop light viewer and all gauges work as they should. The radio is...

1953 Chevrolet 210

View Description

The 50-s model Chevy-s have become quite popular in the past couple years. With their distinct rounded styling and huge engine bays they make a great platform for hotrod enthusiasts. This build was intended to make a good looking amazingly powerful Hotrod at a reasonable price which they definitely accomplished. The car was really in good shape to begin with as that was one of the main requirements when building inexpensively as body work is not fast or cheap. Taken off the frame and brought down to bare metal the doghouse was actually donated from a 54 with the taillights added in as well. The stock frame was sturdy and stout with a 4 link added out back and a mustang II style upfront the ride quality of this 53 was greatly approved. With the chassis in place the next step was to build the power plant. Starting off with a 454 block, then boring it. 060 over, total displacement increased all the way to 468 cubic inches. Topped off with a set of high flow aluminum heads this is unlike any 53 I have ever driven. Naturally you can-t just put any transmission behind that much power so the guys...

1953 Chevrolet 210

View Description

This Deluxe Series is a solid example of Chevy's kickstart to the iconic 210. The 1950s was the peak of two tone paint jobs and this car is no disappointment in that department. The main body is finished in a beautiful powder blue and is perfectly accented by the white roof. The car's presence is topped off with an abundance of chrome and custom pinstriping that adds just the right amount of flair. If you want a typical hot rod, look elsewhere. Under the hood of this 210 is a 235 cubic inch solid lifter straight six featuring dual carburetors, Offenhauser intake and Fenton headers. Don't let the cylinder count fool you, this car will get up and go! The interior is finished in a super comfortable blue cloth and with a three on the tree shifter there's nothing to keep you from full utilization of the front bench seat! With the modern Pioneer stereo system you can make sure the mood is always right. The dashboard is painted in a deep...

1953 Chevrolet 210

View Description

The Chevrolet 210 was the midrange model of the Chevrolet car from 1953-'1957. It took its name by shortening the production series number (2100) by one digit in order to capitalize on the 1950s trend toward numerical auto names. The numerical designation ''210'' was also sporadically used in company literature. It replaced the Styleline DeLuxe model available in previous years. This model was dropped following the 1957 model year to be replaced by the Biscayne. Two engines were used in each of the '53-'54 model 210's for sale. All Two-Tens had a 3 speed Synchromesh manual transmission as standard. All...

1953 Chevrolet 210

View Description

The 210 was a mid-range model for Chevrolet, positioned between the base 150 and the premium Bel Air. The 210 replaced the Styleline Deluxe model and was produced from 1953 to 1957. It was then replaced by the Biscayne for the 1958 model year. The 210 offered the broadest choice of body styles, which included a convertible, Sport Coupe, hardtop, 2 and 4 door sedans, and 4 door station wagons. The 210 was available with the same options as the Bel Air that were not available on the 150, including seat adjusters, power windows, and a Powerglide automatic transmission. It was also less expensive than the glamorous Bel Air, which is why it was the best-selling model for Chevrolet in 1953 and 1954. This particular 210 is powered by a 235 CID Inline 6 cylinder that is mated to a Powerglide automatic transmission. The tan exterior paint shows well and is accented nicely by all the chrome trim and chrome wheels. The wheels do provide a nice modern touch on this otherwise stock Chevrolet. The tan cloth upholstery has been redone, it is very clean, and shows minimal...
