In 1955 station wagons were, for the first time, included in their own series. The Country Sedan was the intermediate level wagon. The 1955 Fords were totally redesigned from the 1954 version. This beautiful two tone Robin-s Egg Blue and Cream Country Sedan Wagon is a way cool car with a few modern touches. The subtle exterior doesn-t really give anything away. The original Ford engine has been replaced with a Chevrolet 350 CID small block. The engine has been mated to a 350 Turbo Hydramatic, and allows for hours upon hours of dependable highway driving. To give a still stock appearance, the Ford Oil Bath breather has been placed on top of the engine. To make sure this old wagon stops easily, a set of power brakes, with front discs, have been added.
