In its final two years of production, the Hollywood Wasp became a product of the newly formed American Motors Corporation (AMC). The Detroit plant was closed and Hudson Models were shifted to the Nash-s Kenosha Wisconsin facility. The Hudson-s would be based on the senior Nash models but would have exclusive Hudson Styling. By the owner-s own account this Wasp is one of the nicest still in existence. This -55 Hollywood is loaded with creature comforts that set it apart from the others in that era. AC with an airliner reclining seat and twin travel beds made this an excellent road car for the famous Route 66 trips. The exterior is in excellent shape with having only one repaint in the history of this Arizona car. Under the hood is the original 202 CID Inline 6 cylinder engine. The engine has a set of dual carburetors with air cleaners giving it a nice sporty look. The engine has been rebuilt and is ready for another 58044 miles. Inside, the interior looks new...
