1956 Ford Customline
View Description
The 55/56 Customline of vehicles was Ford-s answer to the overwhelming success of the Tri/Five Chevrolet that took the market by storm. With similar body lines many people felt Ford should have went a different direction. While sales were decent they were nowhere near what Chevy was pumping out. This example is classic Hotrod styling giving the car a real classic feel. The exterior has been shaved and smoothed with all doors and even the trunk operated by poppers. The green exterior is another classic Hotrod styling que with the 2-tone really separating this beauty from the crowd. The pinstriping is clean and really puts an exclamation point on the Hotrod styling. Under the hood is a 292 with a triple deuce set up giving this beauty a little more pep in its step while giving under the hood a much different look. Mated up to a C4 transmission driving this beauty is as easy as dropping it in gear...
