This Corvette retaining the looks of a '57 Corvette with modern components all the way around it. Built at the famous 'GTS CLASSICS' in Simi Valley, CA. The car has a Newman chassis, and widened rear body to compensate for the C4 Corvette suspension. New carbon fiber springs that make the car handle like a dream. The exterior is painted and gel coated in striking Lexus Ruby Red. Combined with the amazing trim and the tan convertible top this 'Vette exudes class and sportiness. The interior has tan leather seats, tan carpet, tan leather on the dash, and is finished off with reconditioned gauges. It is powered by the very reliable LS-1 rebuilt motor mated to a T-56 6-speed transmission and backed by a 1987 C4 Corvette rear end with 4:11 gears. America first sports car was an instant success and this C1 Corvette was the king of the road and the cause of envy everywhere it was driven in 1957. Flash forward 65 Years and while the C1 still causes people to stop and stare the original drivetrain just doesn't stand up to todays modern muscle. So, what to do? Well, the answer to that question these days seems to be simple, put an LS engine in it. What a great mix of olde school cool and modern muscle! The LS1 in this classic has been treated to a hat full of go fast goodies like Professional products fuel rails and intake not mention shorty headers. Backing this power plant is a four-speed automatic transmission which is twice as many as the original power glide. Wilwood calipers on all four corners with drilled and slotted rotors up front. Now, I know you have seen the photos and have seen that this car is clean, fresh and the paint looks great.
