1959 Ford Custom
View Description
The 300 was the series with the least amount of frills. Many were sold but used as basic transportation. Many did not survive over these past nearly six decades, making this one a real conversation piece.
The first thing you notice about this car is the stance and the color. Painted a pleasing shade of bright silver, matte black paint accentuates this Ford's classic lines. A graphic along the rockers let everyone know this is a Custom 300 model. The Custom grille is very unique and there is Custom pinstriping found throughout the vehicle, even in the door jambs. A set of A-R Hopster wheels give it the stance and attitude a car of this stature needs.
Climb inside the roomy interior, and the nicely upholstered medium blue vinyl and cloth seats take you back to another time when cars could comfortably seat six adults. New matching carpet with courtesy lights along the floor give the car a pleasing aura when the doors are open. As you reach for the reduced-size steering wheel (by 2'), the shifter for the C-6 automatic appears to be a manual shifter because the clutch pedal is still there!...
