1961 Chevrolet Bel Air

View Description

She is powered by an amazing period correct 409 CI V8 mated to a 4-speed Muncie transmission with Hurst shifter and Ford 9-inch rear end with 3:63 gears and POSI traction strange axles and 3rd member. It features a steel crank, H Beam connecting rods, ratio pistons, Daky solid state lifter cam, Edelbrock Aluminum Heads, Intake Manifold and 750 CFM Carburetor, MSD ignition, completely balanced with little run time on the build. It has a SFI steel flywheel, a Ram Clutch, and steel scatter shield bell housing. It has 11-inch rear brake drums and new front and rear suspension components, rear adjustable shocks, front slotted disc brakes, new gas tank, new heavy-duty drive shaft. The paint is a sharp White, that shows very well - and the color-coded steel wheels lets you know there is something sinister under the hood! The interior appears to be original, with a color-coordinated Black bench seat, and looks likes she has been taken care of through the years. It surely looks as if you are back in 1961. The trunk appears to be original and is in very good condition for this...

1961 Chevrolet Bel Air

View Description

This 61- Bel Air has been in the same family since it was bought new in 1961. It was parked in 1967 with 32,000 miles on the odometer. Over the next 18 years the car was driven just 4,000 miles, and in 1985 it was purchased by the current owner, the grandson of the original buyer. In the mid-80-s the Bel Air received a refreshed coat of paint on the bottom half of the car of the original Sea Mist Turquoise. Other than the respray, the car is original and maintains the survivor status. The vinyl interior features light and dark shades of green. The vinyl upholstery is original and not perfect but does show well considering its age of almost 60 years. The dash is no nonsense and to the point, it matches the color of the upholstery nicely. The original inline 6-cylinder engine still powers this old Bel Air and is mated to the original 2-speed Powerglide automatic transmission. The odometer reads 39,423, which represents the actual mileage on...

1961 Chevrolet Bel Air

View Description

She is powered by a documented rebuilt 283 CI V8 mated to a rebuilt Turbo 350 3-speed automatic transmission, completed in 1997 w/ 27,000-miles since re-installed. The engine was rebuilt to stock specs, and the recent addition of a cam, Edelbrock aluminum intake manifold, and 4-BBl carburetor, new power steering box, new master cylinder, along a new dual exhaust system finishes her off. To say it's time to go cruising - no worries - maintenance has been done. The paint had been redone some time ago in a sharp White, that is a good driver quality job - that shows well. She sits right on the set of Corvette Rally wheels she rides on. The engine bay has been detailed, and appears period correct - and clean! The Red cloth/vinyl interior appears to be original, with a color-coordinated bench seat, and looks likes she has been taken care of through the years - and may have had some updates along the way - it shows that nice - and surely looks as if you are back in 1961! The trunk appears to be original and is in very good condition for this vintage car. Options on this '61 BelAir include; vinyl/cloth...
