It has a SFI steel flywheel, a Ram Clutch, and steel scatter shield bell housing. It has 11-inch rear brake drums and new front and rear suspension components, rear adjustable shocks, front slotted disc brakes, new gas tank, new heavy-duty drive shaft. The paint is a sharp White, that shows very well - and the color-coded steel wheels lets you know there is something sinister under the hood! This 61- Bel Air has been in the same family since it was bought new in 1961. It was parked in 1967 with 32,000 miles on the odometer. Over the next 18 years the car was driven just 4,000 miles, and in 1985 it was purchased by the current owner, the grandson of the original buyer. In the mid-80-s the Bel Air received a refreshed coat of paint on the bottom half of the car of the original Sea Mist Turquoise. Other than the respray, the car is original and maintains the survivor status. The vinyl interior features light and dark shades of green. The vinyl upholstery is original and not perfect but does show well considering its age of almost 60 years. The dash is no nonsense and to the point, it matches the color of the upholstery nicely.
