The 1963 Impala was Chevy-s flagship car with over 820000 units sold it was by far the best-selling car in 63. The full-size car came with a variety of drivelines with anything from an inline 6 standard to the monstrous 425HP 409 engine. The biggest hit that year was the SS package which accounted for almost 30% of the Impala-s sales. A trim package that gave the car a little more styling and could be added to any Impala.
This 63 has undergone an extensive restoration and it shows well. The paint on the car looks great with the white roof accenting the teal body color and really catches your eye. Under the hood is a strong 400 CID V8 that runs like a dream. The Accel distributor guarantees the right spark at the right time while improving power output. Mated up to a 4-speed manual transmission this 63 is a blast to drive while the chrome valve covers, and air cleaner give a great contrast under the hood.
