Before this radical transformation, the car was stored in a warehouse for over 30 years. Luckily, the car was recovered from what has been the end of many great cars, and the decision was made to make it into the amazing Machine you see before you. Performed by the Duntov Motor Company in Dallas, Texas, no expense was spared on this restoration/modification. Specializing in building, racing, and restoring vintage Corvettes, Duntov-s expertise shines through brilliantly on this build. The frame was stripped completely down, dipped in an alkaline vat, and primed to a level higher than you would have seen on the line in St Louis. Pop the forward tilting hood and you will find a brand new GM Performance LS3 engine. This particular LS is pumping out 525 hp, making this little black C2 a force to be reckoned with. All of that force is sent to the rear wheels through a Tremec 5 speed manual and spinning a Duntov differential housing 3. 73 gears. Keeping this little beast planted is a complete Duntov front and rear suspension set up. The 1963 Corvette set the world on fire when it debuted, and in 64 it was more of the same. This gorgeous 1964 Stingray coupe began life as a fuel injected 327, four speed car. These days the vintage fuel injection is long gone. But the car still has a 327 small block with a great shifting 4-speed manual transmission and no power steering with power brakes. The body is gorgeous in Satan Silver over Black interior. The addition of a later big block, 'stinger' hood with a black stinger stripe really makes the color combo pop. The car rides on real 'knock-off' turbine wheels with thin line white walls and some sharp looking side pipes accenting the sides. Speaking of side pipes; this thing barks! Few engines sound better than an old school, small-block Chevy V8 dumping exhaust through side pipes. Everyone will know you're coming and going. The paint is amazing and you'd need to look hard to find flaws...
