This cousin to the Ford Falcon has had all of the mechanicals examined thoroughly and then had components rebuilt and replaced as necessary. Period-correct Cragar wheels make the car look like it-s still the 1960-s. A new black top was installed and the car has had the best of care for the past few years, when many different things were done to this Mercury convertible to make it the car it is today. A black interior has also recently been completely reupholstered in black and it keeps everyone comfortable. It-s equipped with creature comforts like power steering, air conditioning, AM-FM radio, and more. The C6 transmission replaces the smaller original C4 and the car now cruises down the road at 70 MPH at 2200 RPM. The original 289 has been replaced by an era-correct engine that-s been fully rebuilt. An aluminum radiator keeps everything at the right temperature.
