View Description

WOW! 1964 1/2 Pre-production Ford Mustang! One of around 180 built, and one of only a handful known to survive! This is number 37 and is one of the lowest numbered cars known in existance. The VIN of this vehicle is 5F07F100037 and it is in its correct Wimbledon White paint and Red vinyl interior. Door tag reads: Body - 65A, Color - M, Trim - 85, Date - 05C, DSO - 89, Axle -1, Trans - 6. This rare pony car has 130,840 actual miles and underwent a restoration in the late 80's. An interesting part about this Mustang is that it has two VINs stamped into the inner fender. One indicating the VIN above as an 'F' code 260 V8 and the other, identical except with a 'D' code 289. The car is badged as a 260 V8, and the door tag and title show the 'F' code 260, but the engine itself is believed to be a 289. During the restoration, 260 engine...
