1964 was the first year of the Cuda and the model lasted until 1974. The runaway success of the mid 1964 Ford Mustang made Plymouth respond with their own creation, The Barracuda. The most noticeable feature of the 64 Cuda is the oversized wraparound rear window that really gives this car a unique.
Originally equipped with a 273 CiD V8, this Cuda now has a slightly modified larger 318 CiD V8 that has a bunch of goodies on it. The engine still features the 273 cylinder heads with solid lifters, it has a high rise Edlebrock intake with a 570 cfm Holley street avenger carburetor, some sweet long tube polished headers that lead to a new dual SS X-pipe exhaust that gives this car a very nice sound. It also features an HEI electronic ignition system so you can rest easy this baby will start. The car has had the front end suspension rebuilt to make the ride quality much better. A large multicore aluminum radiator with electric fans keeps that small block nice & cool no matter how you are driving it.
