The Chevelle is arguably the most sought after of all muscle cars. Beginning production in 1964 it was very similar in size and concept to the ever popular 55-57 Chevy-s. Much like those cars the Chevelle has a cult like following today with the first generations being the most sought after. This 65 is a great example of using one of these A body-s as a platform to build a cool classic street Machine. Probably the first thing to catch your attention is the gold metallic paint; it really pops when out in the sunlight. Finishing the classic look is a set of chrome Cragar SS wheels. Pop the hood and this is where the real fun begins. The 355 CID engine was never offered in a -65 Chevelle making this a custom build. The Holley carb sitting on top of the high flow intake keeps this healthy cammed up V8 fed. Naturally you are going to have quite a bit of spent gasses coming out so the dual exhaust to take care of that perfectly.
