This Cobra IS A BEAST, powered by an actual 1971 429 Thunderbird Thunderjet engine, and has since been built to a 520 CID V8 650hp Dyno proven Monster! Mated to a crisp-shifting 5-speed manual transmission provides the go; and Factory Five's tube-frame chassis with coil-overs at all 4 corners and 4-wheel disc brakes handle keeping things wheels down and with aplomb. The Big Block Ford is fed by the TWO big 4BBL carbs and gets spark from the requisite MSD ignition. KAASE Aluminum P-51 Cylinder Heads help make big power. A big aluminum radiator with an electric fan help keep the mill in proper operating temps. Custom heat wrapped headers feed into the dual side-pipes and provide for that great throaty big block sound that the early Cobras were famous for. A full set of custom gauges help the driver monitor critical operating functions. Fast is a complete understatement. With little to no weight and a potent V8 up front, this thing is a rocket, and this rocket has been very well kept and cared for over its life, having only covered 1000 miles since it was built in 2009, so it's broken in but not worn out.
