1967 AC Cobra

View Description

The Shelby Cobra was first made in 1961 when Carroll Shelby wrote to AC Cars, a British automotive company, and asked if they could build him a car with a V8 instead of their V6. Ford supplied the engine, at Carroll Shelby's request, so they could compete with Chevrolet-s Corvette. This vehicle-s build was completed in 2007- it-s titled as such. It was a well-executed build as all the wiring is unified and not a scrambled mess, which you-ll find occasionally in these builds. This 2009 Everett Morrison A/C Shelby Cobra comes equipped with a massive 460 cubic inch Big Block V8 that is linked to a smooth shifting C6 Automatic transmission both with only 464 actual miles since being built and has a complete aluminum top end with Elderbrock heads and intake. That engine and transmission combination paired with the very popular Ford 9 inch rear end and 4. 11 gears you can only imagine how much of a joy this little roadster is to drive. I know many will argue that all of these cars are supposed to have manual transmissions but I will agree that there is a great joy that comes from driving this car without the worries of shifting gears and being able to focus fully on the drive. This 2009 Shelby A/C Cobra...
