All over the world the Karmann Ghia with its timeless design and iconic signature was the official sports car offered by Volkswagen. The Karmann Ghia and its Italian styling of Carrozzeria Ghia, hand-built bodywork by the German coach-builder Karmann has always been know as a desired collectible. Our 1967 Karmann Ghia has had everything gone through on the vehicle, its either all new or rebuilt. With under 500 miles on the whole car since being restored it is like driving a brand new car. The engine is a 1500cc engine and runs as you would expect a piece of German engineering would! This engine is paired with a manual 4-speed transmission that shifts very smoothly through the gears. The exterior of the car has it's original color which is Velour Red and it looks just like it came off the showroom floor. This is a beautiful example of a Ghia, and it is about as fresh as you can ask for. The exterior is shot in a beautiful blue (paint code available) and a Tan/Oatmeal interior. Condition all the way around is good and there are no major flaws to speak of. A professional VW shop built and installed a 1835cc engine and the stock VW 4 Speed Swing Axle smoothly shifts the gears. There is a quite a list of new parts on this vehicle and we will name a few. All new rubber/weather stripping has been installed, new windshield, entire new wiring harness by Wiring Works, complete interior, new brake hoses, new steering box, and new ball joints/tire rod ends.
