1968 Buick Skylark

View Description

This is a true Skylark GS California, not a clone. However, it has been painted in the Skylark GSX motif. The black stripes have been masterfully painted on, and the entire yellow and black paint scheme has been clearcoated with numerous coats, leaving it glass-smooth. This 1968 Buick Skylark GS California underwent a rotisserie restoration at Diaz Classics in Corcoran, CA, which did the complete package. In addition to being a numbers-matching car, it also has all of its original body panels. A hood tach was added to enhance that muscle car look, as well.

Pop the hood open, and you'll find its original 350 CID V8, which is now topped by a FiTech Fuel Injection system, custom cast aluminum Buick valve covers and aluminum intake manifold. Backing the 350 is its original 2-speed Powerglide automatic, which was redone at the same time the engine was. The pulleys are all done in body color, and a big aluminum radiator with twin electric fans help keep the 350 running cool. A Davis Unified Ignition HEI distributor provides the spark delivery. Headers handle the exhaust scavenging, sucking those spent fossils out into a custom Pypes Performance dual exhaust system, and help give it...

1968 Buick Riviera

View Description

Upon its high profile debut into the automotive market, the Riviera was meant to take the automotive industry by storm and it did just that. This vehicle received praises from just about everybody that laid eyes on these beautifully designed Buicks. For 1967, Buick introduced a very significant engine into the line-up which replaced the previous 425CID 'Nailhead' V8. The new and improved 430CID 7. 0L V8 which pumped out a very impressive 360 horsepower and a whopping 475 pound feet of torque! All of this power was catered through its Turbo-Hydramatic TH-400 3-Speed Automatic Transmission which shifts beautifully. The 430 CID V8 in this 68 Buick is the original numbers matching engine and runs great having only 85,854 actual miles on the car. The dramatic coat of high gloss Silver paint definitely gives this Riviera a menacing look with the Black Vinyl top and does a great job of making all the chrome trim on the vehicle pop. This beautiful Machine rests...

1968 Buick GS

View Description

This car is powered by its original numbers matching 400 cubic inch Big block V8 and mated to an factory upgraded super turbine 400 automatic transmission, all with only 57k actual miles. In 1968 and 1969 Buick offered the GS400 in a convertible and hardtop model. Standard issue of the GS400 was a 400 cubic inch (6. 6L) engine (with likely lower stated horsepower rating to keep insurance premiums lower) of 340 horsepower and 440 ft. lbs. torque, a four barrel Rochester Quadrajet carburetor, dual exhaust, 2. 93 standard gear ratio and the available three speed turbo Super Turbine 400 automatic transmission (revered as the finest automatic transmission ever built, and commonly called Turbo Hydramatic 400), U-shape Hurst (automatic transmission) shifter and linkage, located on a center console. A 1968 or 1969 GS400 equipped with the TH400 auto transmission was faster off the line than many of its contemporaries thanks to an unusually 'low' 1st gear. Shift pattern for the TH400 from most forward position is Park, Reverse, Neutral, Drive, Second, First. A standard 3 spd or optional 4 spd manual gearbox was also available. Compression ratio on this engine was a very sensible 10. 25:1, which allowed for the use...
