1968 Corvettes are a big departure from the 63-67's, offering a dramatic new body and interior, while relying on the proven 63-67 chassis. Several engine options were made available, including the terrific 327 V8 found in this one. Interior comfort was superior in many ways to the C2's, affording a better seating angle and room. The C3 body was based on the 1964-1965 'Mako Shark' concept. Body panel fitment is better than your average '68, with good gaps and alignment and the 68-only door handles work well.
