1969 Ford Mustang Boss

View Description

With just over 13,000 ORIGINAL MILES, this is one of the lowest mileage Boss Mustangs in the world! This Mustang is one of the world's most famous, renown, and valuable muscle cars. With only 859 Boss429S ever made (857 were Mustangs), they're seen few and far in between. This 1969 Ford Mustang Boss9 for sale was built by Ford so the mighty 429 could be used to compete with Chrysler's 426 Hemi in the NASCAR circuit. To legally compete, 500 models must be built and sold to the public. And alas, the Boss was born! These engines were severely underrated, at 375 horsepower. A solid number, no doubt, but some sources say actual horsepower was far and beyond 500! In order to fit this engine in the Mustang, Ford contracted out the work to Kar Kraft in Brighton, MI to complete the heavy modifications. This Boss for sale was built on April 11th, 1969 and sold shortly after to Vanderstyne Ford Inc. in New York. This beautiful example is original, with only minor pieces, refreshed, changed, or refurbished. This 69' Ford Boss Mustang for sale has full documentation, including: Marti report, original build sheet, KK sticker (KK 1707), Special Performance vehicle...

View Description

In 1969 Ford produced just 859 of these to compete with Chrysler's 426 Hemi in the NASCAR circuit. These engines were severely underrated at 375 horsepower. Some sources say actual horsepower was far and beyond 500! In order to fit this engine in the Mustang, Ford contracted out the work to Kar Kraft in Brighton, MI to complete the heavy modifications. This Boss9 was built on March 28th, 1969 and sold shortly after on April 10th, 1969. This beautiful example was removed from a garage in 1985 with just 4,000 miles and driven for another 12,000 miles before it was sent to the restoration shop where it underwent a full frame off restoration. The vehicle has been restored to the condition it would have come out of the factory is '69. The car's original colors have been retained: Wimbledon White on the outside, and a beautiful Black vinyl interior. Where Mach1S and Shelbys are typically adorned with striping, the Boss has a much more subtle exterior scheme. Mono-tone paint and simple 'Boss 429' lettering on the fender make the car a bit of a sleeper. Take a peek at the undercarriage and it is clear no expense was spared when refurbishing...

1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1

View Description

Ford Motor Company recently introduced the Mustang Dark Horse. well, this Dark Horse may have something to say about that. It goes without saying, the 1969 Mustang is not only one of the most recognizable Mustangs ever produced, but without question is one of the hottest 'Pony Cars' to ever hit the street. So, sit down, buckle up, and hold on, as you read only a fraction of what this stallion is all about. Since coming out of the stable, this thoroughbred has gone through extensive training and grooming. The Roush427 is one of the most popular crate motors on the market today and for good reason. The polished powerplant produces nearly 600hp and creates an exhaust note proclaiming it is not to be messed with. Making the brute force of this brawler more manageable and keeping the rpms in check is a Tremec 6-spd manual trans. From front to back, top to bottom, this is one legit Restomod that was built right. The current owner has documented every part of the build process including pictures and pricing which far exceed the asking price. Everything underneath has been reinforced and tied together professionally with no corners cut. Tubular control arms, rack...
