This Metallic Red Chevelle Street/Strip is a very nice car. The current owner recently bought this, and has decided it is too much of a street beast for him. This 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle has been outfitted with a 540 Big Block Gen V engine with Brodix Racing cylinder heads. Just in case, you need a little extra power, there is a Nitrous Oxide Systems kit installed on this street/strip monster. The transmission is Turbo 350 Hydramatic 3-speed transmission with reverse valve body pattern that is controlled with a TCI Bandit Racing Shifter. 1970 was a huge year for muscle cars and I mean that literally. The cubic inch wars were at their peak with the big three all offering big blocks measuring in at well over 400 CI. Probably the most known of all these was GM's 454. It came in many levels and horsepower ratings making the Chevelle the most popular of all the muscle cars. This example has been brought back to its original glory with the outside painted back with the Cortez Silver accented with black period correct racing stripes.
