This 70 Convertible Stang has a few upgrades. The original engine has been replaced with 5. 0 Liter engine from a 1995 Mustang GT. The engine is what is known as a roller block, because the lifters have small wheels that contact the cam. This reduces the amount of friction, which reduces wear to increase longevity. Less friction also leads to more horsepower. The 1995 GT also gave up it 4-speed automatic transmission, which leads to quicker take offs, while 4th gear allows for lower RPM while cruising the highway. The rear end is a Ford 9-inch piece which makes this drive train rock solid. The black vinyl interior looks to be in excellent shape with no rip or tears. The black top looks to be in great shape. At the flip of a button, the top will go up or down. The current owner has owned this drop top pony for 3 years.
