Powered by the believed to be original and strong 1798cc motor and the smooth shifting 4-speed manual transmission this MGB is ready to cruise! The previous owner bought this gorgeous MGB from a dealer in Pompano Beach Florida, then took the car to Design Velke in Cedarburg Wisconsin to have the vehicle restored by David Welky. David restored the MG for over 12 years from 2003-2015 and you can tell all of the amazing work that was done. The engine block was completely disassembled and was boiled and used in an acid tank. The block was bored over. 20 over, and had new freeze plugs and cam bearings replaced. The crank was polished and the rods were re-rounded with new bearings. Crank and rods (0. 10) and had new pistons, pins, and even a new oil pump. The head has new valve guides, a new (Stock) camshaft and also lifters. It has been upgraded from 6 to 12 volt and has a new battery and alternator. They added a new pierce manifold with Weber carbs, and a flame thrower ignition and distributor.
