In previous years the Sierra Grande was an option package that could be ordered but 1972 it was the top trim level for GMC trucks. Powered by its original 400 CID V8 engine and drive train, this 72 still has plenty of power. The Longbed makes the ride very comfortable as you float down the road and has minimal body roll in the road curves. The two tone orange and white paint is in great shape and draws the eye to turn heads everywhere you go. Inside the cab is a beautiful white bench seat with orange/black hounds tooth that matches the white door panels with wood grain inserts. This 1972 GMC pickup was purchased new and has stayed in the same family since new. It is a Longbed with a 350 CID V8 and a 3 speed automatic so the drivetrain is pretty standard but whomever did the restoration knew what they were doing. This truck drives like a dream, shifts nicely and is a joy to drive. Especially considering it has AC which if we-re honest, we all want, power steering, and power brakes. As far as the love part goes, the owner bought this truck from his grandfather in 1995 and in 2003 sent it for a full restoration.
