A variant of the P1800 coupe; the 1800ES was a two year only production two door wagon featuring an all glass rear hatch. Between 1972 and 1973 only 8,077 1800ES rolled off the assembly line in Sweden. The car featured a 2. 0 Liter OHV 'B20E' engine. The 4 cylinder is backed by a 4-speed manual transmission with overdrive. Drive is delivered to the rear wheels and to slow the whole thing down there is disc brakes in all four corners. With 120 horsepower from the I4 at 6,500 RPMs and a lightweight body, this thing is fun to push to the limit. The appearance certainly matches the lively driving characteristics. This one is coated in a coat of gray with a little metallic flake. The interior features black upholstery, which shows some age, but still shows quite well. Volvos are known for being overbuilt high quality automobiles, and one owner proved that fact very well.
