This California cars restoration was completed in 2011 by Full Circle Restorations in Lockeford, California. Under the hood is a 400ci small block chevy bored out to a 407ci with AFR aluminum heads, roller cam, Edelbrock performer intake with endura shine, Holly double pumper carburetor, Milodon 6 quart pan, Edelbrock fuel pump, MSD series 6 ignition, MSD adjustable timing control, dual pass radiator, electric fan, custom shroud, and a Billet Specialties serpentine belt system. Transmission is a 2004R built up for increased horsepower with a bowtie overdrive throttle cable kit. Front brakes are loaded with Wildwood modular brake calipers, rotors, and stainless braided lines. Brakes are based off a Mustang Cobra with a Classic Performance Products hydraulic brake booster. This was needed because of the low vacuum of the cam. Wheels are chrome American Racing 17x8's with new rubber. Exterior color is a 'Volvo blue' with fenders have been flared to give it that wide body look. Flushed in LED lamps in the front and rear adds a nice new look to the car. Being born from it's Studebaker heritage, this classic immediately reminds you of the bold designs that captured the hearts of any car enthusiast. This Avanti II is 1 of only 123 made that year and the care and dedication to its condition definitely show. Recently re-painted in a beige tan that shines great and gives that retro feel, and the bright chrome bumpers and trim just pop off of it. On the inside you see the clean classic high back captain chairs wrapped in brown vinyl. The backseat and back deck are also wrapped in nice brown vinyl.
