The El Camino is a staple in hot-rod culture and this mid-70's model epitomizes what is most loved about these muscle trucks. El Caminos are prized by collectors for not only the great looks but the functionality of having a full pickup bed with the driving habits of a car. This 1976 El Camino looks ready to rock and roll with its Brown exterior paintjob, Off-White vinyl roof and White rally stripes. Upgraded 'Classic' styling package included appearance enhancements such as rectangular stacked headlights and wider rocker panel moldings. The aftermarket Eagle alloy wheels compete the look for this little truck that is ready to punch above its weight. This particular vehicle can be decoded based on the VIN to have come out of the Arlington, Texas manufacturing plant with a 305 CID V8 engine but according to the seller there's a 350 CID V8 in there now. From what we can see, this ElCo has an Edelbrock 4-bbl carburetor and aluminum intake manifold installed that should assist with performance considering mid-70's emissions standards that held back some of the ponies compared with the muscle car era. Essentially this El Camino is a one owner car. I t has been in the same family since it was purchased new in 1976. The father bought the car and owned until 1995. His son inherited this beauty and has kept it up till last year, when the current owner purchased it. This El Camino has had on repaint, and it was approximately 25 years ago. The 400 CID V8 small block is the original engine to the El Camino. With only 52980 miles, this El Camino has rears of life left in it. The El Camino comes with the original build sheet and has some documentation from the original owner. Recent mechanical work includes brake work, new tires, exhaust, belts, hoses and wipers. Originally white, this vehicle has had a wrap placed on it by Hightech Signs, out of Rockwall, TX, depicting several iconic images by multiple branches of our military throughout time. Eloquently stating on both sides, Freedom isnt free. It also comes with a custom/removable flag stand & 5- flags, which easily bolts and unbolts in and out of the bed of this El Camino. The flags represent all 5-braches of the military, including the Coast Guard and are being sold with the vehicle.
