This beautifully restored CJ5 is in amazing shape and comes with a folder full of receipts from the build. When looking at this Jeep, it doesn't take long to notice that some serious time and money went into the restoration. Every nut and bolt has been touched and its apparent that no corners were cut. The build was mostly complete in 2011 and has had the last few parts installed within the last couple of years.
During the frame off restoration the original 304 cubic inch v8 engine, 3 speed manual transmission, rear end, and transfer case were all completely rebuilt and have a little over 2,000 miles on them. The brakes, suspension, wheel bearings, axles, and the rest of the running gear were also completely overhauled at this point. There were a few items that were best to replace rather than restore and those include the carburetor, ignition control module, steering gearbox, and a few other odds and ends.
The paint, body and interior were also professionally redone and appear new like...
