1981 brought on a facelift for the Silverado and created a much more attractive front end. In addition to a more attractive truck, the redesign also resulted in a more aerodynamic and fuel efficient truck. This particular truck is loaded to the hilt starting with a fresh 350 CID V8 which is just broken in with only 12,000 miles. Aluminum intake, and chrome valve covers dress things up and a high torque starter gets things rolling. Backing the 350 is a Turbo-Hydramatic 350 automatic transmission which has been beefed up with heavy duty clutches and shift kit.
