Entering into the late 70s Mazda decided to make a new sports car and little did they know of the legacy that would become of the RX-7! First introduced in 1978 the RX-7 known as the SA generation was well accepted in the market. Supply could not keep up with demand! While over 800,000 RX-7s would be produced over 25 years, only 5000 Limited Editions were made for the '83 model year!
