1987 Mercury Grand Marquis

View Description

Ford's 302 CID V8 engine is the powerplant under the hood on this 1987 Mercury. This strong power plant is mated to a automatic transmission and shifts as smooth as can be. This Beauty is painted in Beautiful Blue with simulated woodgrain side panels to give it that classic wagon look. The inside of this Grand Marquis Colony Park LS is equally impressive as the rest of the car and the cushy Blue colored Leather seats look barely touched. Options such as seat belts, power windows, power seats, power door locks, cruise control air conditioning, an AM FM cassette radio and a tilt wheel give you plenty to play with. It is always an experience sitting inside a true time capsule like this 1987 Mercury and whether you grew up with these land yachts yourself or not, you will love the experience of owning one. What are you waiting for?

The Grand Marquis had opera lamps similar to the Lincoln Town Car on its B-pillars. In 1987 the dash received updated trim on the instrument panel. The 'Check Oil' warning light is replaced by a 'Check Engine' light. The Grand Marquis name ran from 1975 until 2011, which just shows how popular and trusted they were. This particular Grand Marquis has been 'freshened' up. The air conditioning system has been converted over to the R-134A. The new air conditioning system and hoses are just under a year old. In addition to the new air conditioning system within the past year, many other new items have been added. The...
