1989 Avanti Convertible
View Description
Avantis can trace their rich heritage back to Studebaker. When the Avanti was introduced it was largely touted as being 'one of the more significant milestones of the postwar industry. ' Avanti broke 29 speed records on the salt flats becoming the fastest production car in the world for its time! After Studebaker shut down the plant in 1963 Avanti continued on and eventually under Avanti Motor Co. from GM all the way until 2006. This nice example is a '89 Convertible. White exterior paint is in good shape, should be noted there are blemishes, believed original paint. The tan power top and tan leather interior is in good shape. Current owner has had it for over 8 years and has taken great care of it. It's a 3-owner car that was acquired through a private owner out of San Diego, California. A ton of ownership history comes with the car. One of the most noticeable things on this car is the 100 spoke gold wire wheels. These have a cost of $2,129 each. The 4 original spoked wheels come with the car as well!...
