This year of Sierra was the last year of an 18-year 'Square Body' style that has subsequently become extremely popular with classic truck enthusiasts. A frame off build by Vanderpool's Automotive in Tucson, Arizona took this humble pickup to new heights starting with powder coating the frame and Yellow Pearl exterior paint on the body. This K1500 pickup features some cool cosmetic modifications like a custom hood, bed cover and molding of the rear bumper that originally protruded from below the fenders. Furthermore, all lights were upgraded to LED's, mirrors painted body color, and door handles replaced. The 22' Boss wheels with Toyo Proxes tires are a hefty investment in themselves! Under the hood of this restored '91 GMC is a 350 CID/5. 7l V8 that was rebuilt according to the seller around 25,000 miles ago. These motors in GM light duty trucks had between 190-210hp in 1991 according to factory specifications.
