This pampered example of the 1993 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 Pace car is loaded with unbelievable provenance, not only having photographs of a famous actor actually in the car going around the track. Chevrolet has had the honor of featuring the Camaro seven different years,1967,1969,1982,1993,2009,2010,2011 to pace the great race in Indianapolis Indiana. The exterior is a two tone black and white paint scheme with additional multi-colored graphics to indicate the Pace-Car heritage. The interior matches the outside with the same colors and graphics. This is a very special example with many credentials to its name. The car was actually used on race day on the track and has been autographed by many famous participants such as Mario Andretti and Arie Luyendyk to name a few. The current owner purchased the car from a General Motors executive. It has the 5. 7L LT4 V8, which was rebuilt and upgraded with an MSD ignition set up, Edelbrock shorty headers, and a 3'' Borla single in/dual out stainless steel exhaust with electric cut outs. All that is mated to a 700R4 transmission with a B&M slap shifter for better performance and highway cruising. The car is dressed in an eye popping red gloss paint job with beautifully accenting gloss back touches on the hood and between the tail lights.
