This Ford Ranger has been extensively modified in order to become the awesome vehicle it is today. This one owner vehicle is a very impressive Ford.
This truck started its life with a 4. 0L V6 engine, but that didn-t last long. Now powering this truck is a monster of an engine. It is powered by a DSS Racing Level 20, 302cid short block bored. 030 over to 306cid. This engine has just 4,600 miles on it. It has Forged Pro-X pistons, polished forged I-Beam connecting rods, and a fully balanced rotating assembly. There are Edelbrock RPM aluminum cylinder heads with Felpro MLS gaskets. The intake manifold is an Edelbrock dual plane Air-Gap intake and it has a Holley 650cfm carburetor. The camshaft is an Elgin custom cam providing excellent low end torque. The engine also has a DSS Main Bearing support system with Pro windage tray. This engine was Dyno-d at 350hp and 360 ft/lbs of torque. Cooling comes from a custom aluminum radiator and has a Volvo electric fan and DC Controls variable speed thermostatic control.
Backing the engine is a Ford automatic transmission with overdrive built by CRT Racing Transmissions and is rated for 600hp. It has fully...
