For those of you who may not know much about these unique cars, the Ford Mustang Cobra Rs were some of the rarest and most purpose-built Mustangs ever made by Ford. They were built for only three model years (1993, 1995, and 2000), with the final ones being the only Cobras built in 2000. All the Cobra R models were built to be raced; so, most of the standard creature comforts that were found in Mustangs were deleted to save weight. The 1993 Cobra R marked Ford's introduction of the 'R' model: only 107 were produced and all were painted in Vibrant Red Clearcoat. 1993 was also the final year for the Fox-Body Mustang; so, Ford created this no-compromises halo version to send the Fox off (to the track) in style.
