The 94 to 96 Impala SS was an instant success for GM. In the early 90-s if you wanted a 4 door spots car you really did not have an American option. Noticing the trend and with the introduction of the LT1 engine in 1993 the brass at GM saw a huge opportunity. The Caprice, famous for being the 90-s cop car, already had the upgraded components for the performance end. A new loaded interior was all they really needed to make a great performing luxury sedan. This 1996 example has been owned by the same gentleman since new. Showing a little over 18k miles this example has been well taken care of. The paint is clean, slick, and original to the car making it a great investment. Under the hood the original LT1 is in place with a few tasteful upgrades including a Cold Air Intake, Shock tower Brace, and asset ceramic coated headers. The true dual exhaust really lets that small block breath while giving it a better exhaust note. The 4l60e transmission shifts out as it should with firm and positive upshifts.
