1969 Fiat 500L

View Description

Throughout automotive history nations around the world empowered working class people with dependable cars that would some day become an icon. America had the Model A, Germany the Beetle and Italy had perhaps the cutest of icons, the Fiat 500. These little Fiat 500s are extremely popular little cars. This particular 1969 example has some extra panache thanks to being the 500L model and some additional stylish touches. With a bright blue paint job, white decals down the side and white wheels this 500L is quite a sharp looker. The drivetrain is a 499cc 18 horsepower 2 cylinder engine with a 4 speed manual transmission. Although 18 horsepower is not a lot by todays standards, this is still a pretty fun car to drive! With a curb weight that is less than a concert grand piano imagine how this little car can get up and...

This little Machine is powered by 500cc engine and a 4-Spd manual transmission. Options include: manual sunroof, hub caps, seat belts, and a vinyl interior. The nice thing about this car is it was recently a frame up restoration. The engine has been completely rebuilt, the clutch is new along with tires, brakes, paint, and the sunroof top. The exterior of the car is coated in a navy blue paint and the interior is a brilliant red. Launched as the Nuova (new) 500 in July 1957, the Fiat 500 was a...

1971 Fiat 500L

View Description

The 500L brought a much needed economy car to the market with a similar set up as the Volkswagen Beetle featuring a rear mounted air cooled engine and 4-speed transmission. The 500 had a 499. 5 cc engine thus the name 500 (because calling it a 499. 5 would just be silly) and produced a whopping 18 horsepower which was an improvement over the previous 13 horsepower version. Now 18 ponies doesn't sound that impressive but on a car with a 4-speed gearbox and weight of only 1,146 pounds it actually will get up to speed without hesitation.

This car is tremendous fun to drive and because of the simple mechanics it is a joy to maintain or do your own service. The original Fiat tool kit contains the lug wrench, 2 metric crescent wrenches and a phillips-head screw driver which is probably all you would need to perform maintenance and repairs on this little beauty. One thing is certain, for an economy car a lot of thought and intelligence went into the Fiat 500 and the 'L' or Lusso version had an upgraded dash panel and brought this car up to a modern standard. On the inside you will notice...

1969 Fiat 500L

View Description

It's quite possibly one of the coolest imports you'll find down at the local cruise-in. This '69 Fiat for sale, is one of the very few true economy offered for sale in the U. S. back in the 60s and is considered one of the first 'city cars' ever produced. Powered by a 499cc inline 2-cylinder engine, this Fiat will get you around town without breaking the bank. It's backed by a 4-speed manual transmission, which is not only a blast to run through the gears but makes it a fuel sipper too! The exterior on this 500L for sale is a vintage color of Orange. With just the right amount of chrome, this little Fiat 500 for sale really pops! Accented by the Black vinyl interior, this Italian classic is one fun import. This Fiat would make a great piece for anyone interested in vintage Italian collector cars or just wants an attention grabbing piece of history. With a full sized car feel, in a compact package, this car was 'Green' and economical before it was cool! This cute 1969 Fiat for sale was sold with one thought in mind, to sell an economical and well built car. The Fiat...
