One of the earliest collectibles among postwar cars, the two-seat T-Bird has, if anything, gained in popularity as the years have passed. This 1956 T-Bird went through a complete restoration back in the early 2000's, mechanically restored and being repainted. This 1956 Thunderbird has bright red paint with a black and white two-tone vinyl interior. It also has a Black soft top and a White Hard top. This beauty is powered by 312 cubic inch motor with a 3-speed automatic transmission. The engine was rebuilt about 10,000 miles ago. The 1956 Thunderbird is also equipped with an AM radio, seat belts, vinyl seats, fender skirts, hub caps, and white wall radial tires. The whole car was dismantled for the restoration, the bare chassis was repaired where necessary, only a small amount of corrosion was present, and the body was completely stripped, primed, and repainted to show standards. The ugly factory rubber beam style bumpers were removed and the apertures in the body were filled to give a smooth body line.

All Mechanical Items were refurbished (Engine and Transmission), all ancilliaries were replaced, water pump, etc. and she was converted to an Automatic Carb to eliminate the troublesome Fuel Injection. Electronic ignition and a new distributor were added. The fuel system was completely replaced from the tank forward. All new cooling hoses and radiator were added and a thermo controlled electric cooling fan added. The Brakes, lines and hydraulics, suspension is all new and a new set of minilite style wheels and Tires.

The interior was also completely refurbished using new wood, carpets, seats and all trim and rubber components, heat and noise shielding has been used in all the interior area. This car is an absolute time capsule with only 41707 miles! It has the desirable 455ci V8 'Poncho' engine backed by a Turbo-Hydramatic automatic transmission, power steering and power front disc brakes. The 1975 model was the most plentiful with just over 4,500 cars built, as being the final year of production increased demand. The Grand Ville convertible though had the lowest production amongst its corporate cousins, the Oldsmobile 88 Royale, Buick LeSabre/Centurion, Chevrolet Caprice Classic and Cadillac Eldorado convertible lines. Sure, it's an ultra sharp looking vintage roadster, but this 1962 Austin Healey - Sebring 5000/MX Wide Body is even more than that. It's carrying a welcome surprise under its hood - a V8 that equips it with outstanding acceleration, as well as a number of other upgrades to provide a more modern ride and precise handling to go along with its abundance of British charm.

The red paint draped over exterior is a vibrant shade. The fiberglass body just underneath provides this roadster with an outstanding power to weight ratio and from all appearances, it's in great alignment, with no sagging at the mid-point and good lines and precise gaps between body panels. This '62 has a really nice stance, with wheels set just a slight bit outward - not to the point of being distracting, but just enough to provide a slightly more aggressive appearance. It's got a very pleasing look from the front, with its oval front grille, wide set headlights and compact hood. The front pillars bracketing the windshield are sharp. Step around to the side and you can see its nicely flared fender wells that match very nicely with the wider offset of the tires.
