This fine example is powered by a rebuilt 1962 413 cu in bored. 60 over, w/ forged crank, ported 906 heads, dynoed at 370-hp, with 10,000-miles since rebuild. The powerplant is mated to the bush button Torqueflite automatic transmission, w/ shift kit, and Dana posi-traction rear end w/ 3:91 gears. The engine is dressed w/ an Edelbrock Torker II aluminum intake manifold, and 750 carb, Edelbrock Black valve covers and air cleaner, and a set of ceramic headers, w/ 3' exhaust. The chassis was updated as well, with Fatman 2' drop spindles, Just Suspension kit, front disc brake conversion. This Polara was painted in 2001 Ivory, w/ Turquoise insert, with new or re-chromed trim, emblems, and bumpers - that shows very well! This Dart GT has a very straight body, and the body lines are the same - nice and balanced. She is painted in a pretty shade of Blue, with White stripes, and White interior. The paint shows very well, and the trim and emblems appear original, and is very good condition with minor patina. This car is a looker - between the straight body, the white contrasting stripes and interior, the wheels and tires - you can't help but take a 2nd look! The engine bay has been detailed and shows very nicely. The same goes fo the trunk - as it shows very well also. The White interior shows she's been cared for over the years - and looks good. To take it to the next level - you'd have to replace the headliner - as she's sagging - but that's about all it'd take!...
