The MGA is a sports car that was produced by MG from 1955 to 1962. The MGA replaced the MG TF 1500 Midget and represented a complete styling break from MG's earlier sports cars. Announced on September 26th, 1955 the car was officially launched at the Frankfurt Motor Show. This MGA has just recently been cosmetically restored. Powering this little go-kart of a car, is a 1600cc Dual Carb motor. Backing that powerplant is a tight 4-speed manual transmission. With the car just being recently repainted, the black paint shows excellent, and really has a nice mirror look in the sun. The red color interior has just been recently reupholstered and shows excellent as well. The fixed-roof MGB GT was introduced in October 1965. Production continued until 1980. The MGB GT sported a ground-breaking greenhouse designed by Pininfarina and launched the sporty 'hatchback' style. By combining the sloping rear window with the rear deck lid, the B GT offered the utility of a station wagon while retaining the style and shape of a coupe. Relatively few components differed, although the MGB GT did receive different suspension springs and anti-roll bars and a different windscreen which was more easily and inexpensively serviceable.
