With only 400 miles on a recent rebuild, this is an excellent example of an Austin Healey 3000! This 1965 big Healey has spent most of its life out in California being well maintained and driven in fair weather only. In 2008, this 1965 Austin Healey MKIII went into a reputable restoration shop in California where the car would spend the next year being meticulously looked over and corrected to bring it back to its former glory. The interior was gone through and brought back to the way that jaw dropping blue interior looked the day it left the factory. A checklist was made to go over the drive train and all components on the car that needed and were then fixed one by one making the finish product as beautiful is it is today. The car was then purchased and transported here to Denver where it was enjoyed and shown off on occasion. This beautiful Austin Healey has been completely restored in 2002. The gorgeous two tone red and black paint is a two stage Glasurit Paint system. The top and tonneau cover are both new to compliment the excellent paint job. The red leather, red rug, and all the rubber seals are also new. The trunk upholstery has been finished in black Armorcord. All the chrome, including the 60 spoke wheels, is either new or has been re-chromed.
