This beautiful Austin Healey has been completely restored in 2002. The gorgeous two tone red and black paint is a two stage Glasurit Paint system. The top and tonneau cover are both new to compliment the excellent paint job. The red leather, red rug, and all the rubber seals are also new. The trunk upholstery has been finished in black Armorcord. All the chrome, including the 60 spoke wheels, is either new or has been re-chromed. Starting with a custom frame and wide-body fiberglass kit similar to what is used on Shelby Cobra Replicas, this Austin Healey Clone looks awesome professionally painted in 'Platinum Silver' PPG with a Black racing stripe extending from the front of the hood all the way to the trunk. The Black manually-operated convertible top was fabricated specifically for this car and has a boot cover for when it is lowered to keep the look just as sleek as when it's in use. Pop the hood and you'll find American muscle powering this British imitator: a crate 350 CID GM engine with a 4-bolt main, Vortec heads, Voo Doo cam with Roller Rocker arms, MSD ignition and dual electric fans for cooling. There's just 900 miles on the motor since it was installed and with an output of around 330hp it packs a lot of punch considering the lightweight body.
