Now I know that the GS stands for Gran Sport but in my opinion it should stand for gentlemen's sports car. Two door, bucket seats and lots of engine, this describes a muscle car but in 1967 muscle cars rarely came with air conditioning or any luxury items like power windows. Enter the GS now one could have his muscle and Air conditioning as well, not to mention room for the family with an actual back seat that real people can sit on.
