Designed by Pininfarina, the Italian design house known for their designs for Ferrari, Alfa Romeo, and Rolls Royce, the Allante was Cadillacs most expensive vehicle at that time. Cadillac decided its clientele deserved an offering that showcased their design with this convertible. Cadillac always maintained a head of the class stance in American automotive innovation and nothing was different with this car.
