1970 was a trying time for Cadillac, with the sudden explosion in Mercedes and BMW sales the Iconic brand was left shaking their head. They did not understand until some of the Cadillac dealers started franchising with Mercedes and the cars were sitting side by side in the showrooms did the big wigs finally get it. The Cadillac and all American cars for that matter had grown bloated, big, and just awkward. So in 1973 They began talking about building not a replacement but a whole new model. The Seville was born and debuted in 1976 to rave reviews and is still sought after to this day. This all original one owner 76 has lived a pampered life which shows with the condition of the paint. It still has a great shine of course there are a couple nicks here and there but for a 40 year old car it looks great. The interior has been well maintained with the original shag carpet showing virtually no signs of wear.
