This car has been in the same owner's garage for the last 15 plus years and has had a lot invested into keeping it looking and driving nicely. Repainted in a PPG Pink Peral with a new white automatic convertible top this Cadillac's exterior curb appeal is top notch. The newer white wall tires and Cadillac hub cabs simply add to the 60's style. Chrome bumpers, molding on the sides and hood, and around the glass is all in great shape. The headlights and taillights are complete and not missing or broken. When you hop into this appealing two door convertible the first thing you notice is the white vinyl interior is wrapped in pink piping. There is also a hidden cassette player in the glovebox. The 1929 Model A Ford Convertible Cabriolets were premium Model A body styles. Cabriolets had two doors, a passenger compartment with a bench seat which could accommodate two adults comfortably and a standard rumble seat which could accommodate two additional passengers in fair weather. Until late 1931 when the A400 Convertible Sedan was introduced, the Cabriolet was unique to the Model A line, in that it had a folding top and glass side windows, offering protection from elements comparable to a closed car and the advantages of an open car in fair weather. The crank operated side windows could be rolled up or down to provide weather protection with the top closed or to serve as wind wings with the top open. The Convertible Cabriolet was added to the line in 1929 and included some design details, like the revised cowl, which foreshadowed changes made to the entire line for 1930. All Cabriolets were equipped with a single rear-mounted spare wheel, a split rear bumper, a single left-side tail light, rumble seat, cowl lamps, black wheels, and black wall tires as standard equipment. This well built Roadster is powered by a beefed up Chevy 350 with an estimated 400 horsepower. The engine is equipped with a new Competition Cams camshaft, tubular headers and a Holley carburetor. Power is sent through a 2 speed automatic Power Glide transmission and back to a 10 bolt rear end from an S-10 pick up fitted with Posi-Traction.

The build has covered a modest 400 miles and looks brand new. The frame is by American Stamping and Steel from Mississippi and is painted a dark gray that really helps set off the Porsche Red paint. The beautiful fiberglass body is by Bohannon Concepts out of Cooksville, TN and has an excellent fit and finish.

Up front you'll notice the independent Mustang II design front suspension which includes Rack and Pinion steering, tubular upper and lower control arms and adjustable Silver Bullet Quick Set coil over shocks.
