1990 was the first year for the Reatta Convertible, only 2132 were made. Designed to compete with the Japanese sport compacts, Buick decided to one up them the American way by putting in the 3. 8 Liter V6 versus the small displacement four cylinders found in the imports. With only two seats and a small rear compartment you'd almost think you were in a Corvette. For all intents and purposes the Reatta was a luxury sport coupe. With leather seating, power seats, and available CD players, Buick was trying to make a mark in the sports car market. This is what makes these cars so special, enough were sold to make a mark in the industry but weren't oversold and have and will become more of an icon than originally thought. This particular example with an excellent condition interior has the Claret Red exterior and matching leather interior. It has a white top to offset the dark exterior. 1990...
