With only 100 miles since a rebuild was completed on the engine, this first generation Cougar has had a great deal of new parts installed! 1967 was the very first year that Mercury releases the Cougar line which was largely based on the Mustang; however the Cougar was not just dolled up Mustang. It was actually a tad longer than the Mustang and had subtle changes throughout. Buick was always known for their comfort and well-polished interior but as with all car manufacturers in the 60-s they had to adapt to the market.
